Key Steel

Key steel is used to help lock shafts to pulleys & sprockets etc and the size required usually correlates to the bore size which is standard within the industrial sector. It is available in metric or imperial sizes, steel or stainless steel and usually comes supplied as 12” lengths but we can also supply in meter lengths if required. Also you can get it in either square or rectangle dimensions depending on your application.

Silver steel is available in metric or imperial sizes and comes supplied in meter lengths but can be cut to whatever size you require. Used within the industrial sector as a general tooling material it can be used in various applications such as making dowels & punches or anything you require a ground round bar for.
